ECP Launches Career and Job Description Guide for Software and IT Asset Management Professionals

ECP and IBSMA are calling for contributions to its new Career and Job Description Guide, a fascinating glimpse into the myriad job titles encompassed within the IT asset and software management (ITAM/SAM) industry.

Representing a compilation of real job titles submitted from IT professionals around the globe, the guide will allow industry pros to compare dozens of aptitude, training, experience and skill requirements that describe numerous ITAM/SAM-related positions and titles. An international comparison and analysis of job data will go a long way to defining and distinguishing the precise roles involved in managing software licenses and hardware assets.

Help advance your profession by taking a few minutes to send us your job title and description. Descriptions should:

• Detail all responsibilities and reports
• Detail all requirements, whether pertaining to skill sets, technical aptitude, certifications or years/degrees indicating needed levels of education and experience
• Detail salary range(s) and amount of travel
• Ideally run 200 to 300 words in length, though any length is acceptable
• Be delivered in a Microsoft Word or rich-text format document
• Please remove any personally identifiable information. We will accept anonymous submissions, and all contributions to the guide will be kept in confidence.
