If you are a goal-oriented IT practitioner with drive, experience and commitment to professional growth. This seminar is for you. Demonstrate your software asset management competence by earning the SAM practitioners’ certificate. This 1.5-day course will help you understand and apply the ISO/IEC 19770-1 software asset management processes standard with a results-oriented team-learning approach to creating policies, processes and procedures. Ideal for practitioners of all levels, the course is a first step in demonstrating SAM competence and for obtaining ISO SAM certification for your organization. Upon completion of the session students may take the optional certification exam. Students passing the test will receive IBSMA’s PCSAM certificate. Course details The course runs from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. the first day and from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. the second day. Lunch will be served both days (included in the course fee). The optional exam will be given on the second day. Space is limited to 20. The course fee includes a charge of $150 to cover licensed ISO materials. All attendees will receive a copy of ISO/IEC 19770-1 (paper and PDF) and presentation materials (paper copy only, PDF not available). All sessions will be held at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center Conference Facilities.
