SAM Summit 2012 will offer a mix of intermediate and advanced-level sessions and tool-vendor demonstrations.
We are adding Oracle, IBM and Microsoft contracting clinics and half-day seminars. There will be two tracks: license and compliance management, and managing software-as-a-service (SaaS), cloud computing and virtual-systems contracts and sourcing. We plan to include more practitioner case-study presentations in 2012.
To be considered, we must receive your proposal no later than Friday, January 13, 2012. Preference will be given to those who submit topics by the deadline or earlier. Speakers attend the conference as our guest. You are invited to submit a proposal for a conference session (one hour), roundtable discussion (1.5 hour), hands-on clinic or seminar (2 to 4 hours).
We expect 120 to 140 to attend the conference. Typically, attendees work in large companies in the U.S., Canada and Europe.
