"Organizations that track and reconcile basic usage data are more successful and are subject to fewer audits," says IBSMA director Steven Russman.
If your organization actively manages its Adobe, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM or Symantec products, it's less likely to be reviewed in the next year, according to results of our 2010 survey. Proactive management includes a well-developed software use policy, contract management and processes that rely on accurate data and tools.
