IBSMA Advisory Council The IBSMA Advisory Council is composed of a leading experts, practitioners, industry consultants and analysts, and vendors representing the fields of technology asset, service software management. IBSMA's Advisory Council provides feedback, suggestions and input on events, articles, industry trends and guides the association's activities and agenda. The council facilitates communication of its initiatives to the community of information technology managers.Council members are appointed to one-year terms and may serve as leaders of various member-run committees. The heads of the various committees and work groups sit on the council. Other positions on the council include membership and outreach, programming (including education and training) and the annual SAM award. Members of the 2007-8 council will be announced later this year. The Advisory Council will meet at least four times per year with one meeting at ECP's SAM Summit in the spring. Committees will determine their own meeting schedule. To submit your name for consideration or to join a committee, refer to the IBSMA membership information page.
